SMALL STUDIO - BIG MOTIVATION
My educational background has been in the field of architecture with a passion for furniture design.
I was awarded a Bachelors with Honours & the Graduate Diploma in Architecture (RIBA Part 1 & 2) from Canterbury School of Architecture, UCA in 2011.
I experimented with Parametric Design allowing me to explore the connections between analogue biology and the digital environment.
I completed my Masters in 2012 in Bio-Sustainable Design.
My thesis project “the algae experiment” has been used as a stepping stone for various algae based design projects through which I consult on multiple educational and commercial projects.
Both my Graduate and Master Thesis work have been featured in magazines and competitions since 2013.
My architectural work on individual air-bnb renovation projects to working on full scale hotel design & branding has allowed me to expand my knowledge in understanding the needs of the hospitality industry and what can make or break a project in this demanding business sector.
